The last trip

The Gingue  Brothers Dairy

I was surprised that a "milk cow" can be a "beef cow."
When milk cow can not pregnant or can not produce milk any more, they have to leave.
That makes me really surprise.

The way collect milk was impressive, they use technology!!!
I was amazed about that.
I appreciate for cows, people in farm and everything.

Thank you Jeff, Thank you SMC.
Thank you for all.

Visiting COTS, homeless shelter

Homeless shelter

What do you think about homeless?
When I think of this question, I can't help being cruel.

Homeless, people who lost their home.
They reap what they sow, this is my opinion.

They are victim of capitalism.
We joined this race when we were born, it last until we die.
We are a part of society which does not support communism.
That is why I cannot help being cruel to them.
If the people cannot run anymore, they cannot join the race.

However, even in this cruel world, there are a lot of people who want to help those "drop-out."
COTS is one of those organization, which tries to help people who lost their home.
This is a building which I visited.

Before visiting there, I concerned about its smell, but it was okay!
Inside of this building, there is a  men's bedroom and women's bedroom.
They are well organized. It was clean.

A member of COTS told us there are no limitation to stay, but they need to establish their "goal."
People can store their belongings in this locker.

After visiting here, my opinion dose not change.
However, I can be little bit less cruel to them.
When they want to get bak to society, we should support them.

People in the capitalism need the place where they can "pit-stop."

Questions about COTS

Questions

-How long are they able to stay in a shelter?

-How many people can you stay there at the same time?

-In your home page, you said that housing is one of fundamental needs for human beings, how do you think about eating? Do you serve something for them?

-When I think about capitalism and racing in society, I think sharing our property can be part of communism. What do you think about that?

-Do you believe that human can do anything for anyone without expecting or getting any rewards?

Lake Champlain Chocolates

Visiting Lake Champlain Chocolates factory

Lake Champlain Chocolates factory is placed in Vermont, 10 ~ 15 min from Saint Mike's by car.

You will see many good Chocolates  when you get into this factory.

You can have lecture about them which makes me sleepy.

They told us how does the factory and company developed, how to make chocolates and how the taste is different.

Before I went to there, I have never thought about the difference between black, milk and white chocolate. Of course I can taste difference, but I have never thought about that.
And I found that I prefer white one.

I am sure you can have tasty chocolates and really great time!

Thank you for reading!

Introduce myself

Hi! My name is Chiba, Yuichi.
I'm from Tokyo, Japan. I belong to International "Christian" University.
However, I am not Christian. It does not make sense.

If someone asked me "Then, what's your religion?"
I will tell them "I don't know."

When I think about my religion, I feel myself weird.
My family religion is "Zen," but it appears only in funerals.
When we eat, I appreciate sprits of animals and vegetables.
However, it is like only a custom.
I do not believe in those things as religion.

Well, then... Can I say "I do not have any religion?"

Maybe not, because "my feelings" are based on some sort of  "animism."
For me, everything in this world seems to have spirits, even it is not "living."
I think all Japanese have this kind of sense, but they are unconscious on that or try to ignore that.
This "unconsciousness" is really important.
I think our religion is too close to see for Japanese.
And this is really difficult to define as "religion," because we are unconscious on our religious things.
This is a part of Japanese unique things.
So... Now, I tell you "my religion is Japanese." Still it dose not make sense.

As you see in this post, I love to think about myself and culture.

This is Yuichi, a Japanese who likes to talk, think and sing.
